Proceed Where the Way is Open:

Tracking Essences & Origins on The Rail Trail

Saturday, July 25, 10am–12pm
Rail Trail Cafe | New Paltz, NY

Many of us know The Rail Trail Cafe as a beloved site that welcomes all, providing a meaningful context as we gather in community on its landscape. The Rail Trail itself is a beloved and well-travelled path from Gardiner to Kingston. It is truly a Way in this region.

There is a language beyond words—spoken in symbols, shadows, and the silent presence of what came before us. In this immersive workshop, we enter that liminal space through the art of object placement and the healing field of Kaleidoscopic Constellations.

In this workshop, we will create a living, three-dimensional map on the Rail Trail, a timeline of signature events in our lives when our original essence felt most alive, guiding us to our purpose in life. We’ll source items from the local environment, as well as personal object/s (item/s of meaning) from home.

Preparation Instructions:

  • In preparation for this workshop, remember a time when you were young and your spirit felt alive, when your essence became activated. As you survey your memories, discern if there is an object or objects that want to come with you to be placed on your ‘map.’

  • Suggested Donation $20 (cash)

When: Saturday, July 25 | 10am–12pm
Where: Rail Trail Cafe, Stone Mountain Farm 310 River Road Ext, New Paltz, NY
